   Meet  CassiePicture of Cassie

On a beautiful November day in 2000, 18-year-old Cassie coached her little sister’s basketball team.  The girls returned home from practice two hours later – hot, tired and happy.   But Cassie didn’t feel well.  Her mother thought it was the last remnants of a nasty virus that seemed to be hanging on for weeks.  Cassie went into the bathroom and moments later, her mother and little sister heard a crash.  Cassie had passed out in the bathroom, her legs blocking the door.  Her mother, forcing open the door, saw Cassie was turning blue.

You are invited to share this family’s Meth-driven kaleidoscope of fear, uncertainty and grief.  Discover the personal anguish of parents and siblings coming face to face with the impact of Meth.  Young people who think they are invulnerable will see beyond the promised excitement and thrills of drug use to the stark reality waiting in the shadows.

Visit Flame Presentations. Spend time reading Cassie’s story.  Browse family photographs.  And then share what you’ve learned with someone you care about.
