Nine
people are behind bars after The Sioux Falls Drug Task Force busted up a
drug ring, arresting nine people and seizing more than $165,000 worth of
Meth, cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
say two of the suspects are members of the Latin Kings street gang. The
group was arrested after multiple search warrants were served at various
homes around Sioux Falls. During the operation, a six-month old boy was
taken into protective custody and his 21-year-old mother charged with
child neglect/abuse. Because of the large amount of drugs seized and
arrests made, the U.S. Attorney and federal authorities may take over the
investigation.
