School Staff Information

Everyone working in a school - teachers, administration, nurses, janitorial staff - needs to understand the impact Meth use in a student's home may have on a child.

It is important for staff to understand the signs of use they may encounter in parents or guardians, as well as the symptoms of exposure students may display if they are in a Meth using or manufacturing environment.  It may be helpful to go over all the information in the Drug Endangered Children (DEC) section of this website.

School employees in South Dakota are mandatory reporters.  Please review the information on how and where to report suspected Meth use
