Authorities seize more than 2 pounds of Meth

Reports from June 1, 2006
On May 31, Meth, cocaine and marijuana were found in a Lincoln County, South Dakota,  storage shed after Tea Police officers followed the trail of an investigation.  A 33-year-old man now faces a variety of drug charges. The Lincoln County Sheriff, Highway Patrol and the Department of Criminal Investigation joined the Tea Police Department at the scene.
Officers did not find any indication of a Meth lab at the site. (Information from KELO-Land TV)

In the overnight hours between May 31 and June 1, the Sioux Falls Area Drug Task Force made a significant drug bust.  They had been investigating the man since late in 2005. When they executed a search warrant on his home they discovered Meth, marijuana and more than $60,000 in cash.  Officers believe the money was from drug sales.  The suspect, believed to be a major source of Meth in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area, is a previously deported illegal alien from Mexico.  (Information from KELO-Land TV, KSFY TV and the Argus Leader newspaper)
